Terms of Service

Last updated: September 1st, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ministry Promo, the creator campaign platform operated by Columbia Records UK, a Sony Music Entertainment UK label. By applying to join, signing in with Discord, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Ministry Promo is invite-only. You must be invited into one of our creator communities (the Ministry Edit Community on Discord, or Ministry Creators on WhatsApp) before you can apply. You must be old enough, under the laws of your country, to enter into this agreement and to hold an account with our payment provider (PayPal). If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission before applying.

2. What Ministry Promo Does

  • You post TikTok content featuring Ministry of Sound / Columbia Records UK music.
  • After you apply, our staff review your application and assign tags based on your content style and audience.
  • Tags determine which campaigns you're eligible for.
  • Campaigns pay in one of two ways: Paid per Post (you set your own price, subject to staff review) or Paid per View (you earn based on verified views your content generates).
  • Views are checked against botting and fraud signals before they count toward payout.

3. Your Application & Account

Applying requires signing in with Discord — your application is tied to your Discord account. The information you submit (including your TikTok handle, your PayPal email, and your typical price per post) must be accurate. You're responsible for keeping it up to date, which you can do at any time from your dashboard.

We may accept, reject, or later revoke your access to campaigns at our discretion — for example if your content, conduct, or account activity doesn't fit the program, or if we detect fraudulent view activity.

4. Content You Post

  • You're responsible for the TikTok content you post as part of any campaign.
  • Content must comply with TikTok's own terms and community guidelines, as well as these Terms.
  • Don't post anything illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.
  • Don't misrepresent your relationship with Ministry of Sound, Columbia Records UK, or Sony Music, or make claims on our behalf that we haven't authorized.
  • We may ask you to take down content, or decline to count it toward a campaign, if it breaches these Terms.

5. Payments

  • Payouts are made via PayPal, to the email address on your account.
  • For Paid per Post campaigns, your price is reviewed by staff before approval, and campaign-specific offers may run above or below your standard rate depending on the brief.
  • For Paid per View campaigns, payout is based on views that pass our fraud/botting verification — views that don't pass verification don't count toward payout.
  • You're responsible for any taxes owed on payments you receive.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Using bots, view farms, or other artificial means to inflate views or engagement.
  • Submitting content you don't have the rights to post, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Attempting to access another creator's account, application, or payout information.
  • Circumventing or interfering with how the platform verifies views or assigns tags.
  • Using the platform for anything unlawful.

7. Intellectual Property

The Ministry Promo platform, its branding, and the music/audio made available for campaigns remain the property of Columbia Records UK, Ministry of Sound, and/or their respective rightsholders. Taking part in a campaign gives you a limited, revocable permission to use the specified music in your own content for that campaign — it doesn't transfer any ownership or broader license. You keep ownership of the video content you create, but grant us permission to track, verify, and reference it for the purposes of running campaigns and calculating payouts.

8. Ending Your Participation

You can stop using Ministry Promo at any time by signing out and no longer taking part in campaigns. We may suspend or end your access to the platform if you breach these Terms, including for fraudulent view activity or content that breaches Section 4.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Ministry Promo is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that campaigns will always be available, that the platform will be free of downtime, or that any particular level of views/earnings is achievable. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under UK law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the platform develops — for example as the campaigns marketplace and additional features launch. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use Ministry Promo after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to our staff through the Ministry Edit Community (Discord) or Ministry Creators (WhatsApp).
